In 2021, students have the option to participate via Zoom, if preferred, due to COVID
(Students can attend the training fully at the Four Seasons Resort, fully via Zoom, or a mix of both formats – whatever is best for you).

Sample Workshop Schedule (each day begins at 9:00 am Pacific Time and will end at 4/4:30pm)

  • June 19 – Introductions, History of Yoga, Understanding Yoga Philosophy, General Yoga Teaching Techniques, Understanding Different Styles of Yoga, Teaching and Practicing Warm Ups and Sun Salutations
  • June 20 – Teaching and Practicing Standing and Balancing Postures, Teaching and Practicing Arm Balances and Front Lying Postures
  • June 21 – Teaching and Practicing Forward Facing Inversions, Seated Postures, Back Facing Inversions, and Back Lying Postures
  • June 22 – Art of Sequencing for Different Styles of Yoga, Incorporating Themes into a Yoga Class, Effective Use of Props, Chair Yoga, Restorative Yoga
  • June 23 – Pranayama, Bandhas, Meditation, Foundations of Mindfulness, Introduction to Yoga Nidra
  • June 24 – Partner Yoga, Hands On Adjustments, Teaching and Practicing Vinyasa and Viniyoga
  • June 25 – Optional Day. There will be multiple optional yoga classes this day. You can attend as many classes as you like and/or use this time to complete assignments and prepare for your in-group practicum
  • June 26 – Anatomy of Hatha Yoga, Biomechanics of Movement, Physiology of Yoga, Introduction to Iyengar Yoga, Group Practicum Time.
  • June 27 – Introduction to Ashtanga Yoga, Sanskrit Pronunciation and Meaning, Teaching Challenging Asanas, How to properly activate the core for a safer and more effective yoga practice, Group Practicum Time
  • June 28 – Yoga for Specific Health Issues (Yoga for Back/Neck Pain, Knee Pain, Headaches, Digestive Issues, Fatigue, Allergies, Arthritis, Anxiety, Depression, OCD, and as complimentary care during cancer treatment, Introduction to Sivananda Yoga, Group Practicum Time
  • June 29 – Introduction to the Doshas and Ayurveda, Yoga for Specific Groups (prenatal, kids), Introduction to Yin Yoga, Yoga Philosophy and the Yoga Sutras, Group Practicum Time
  • June 30 – Creating a Successful Yoga Business, Developing Yoga Workshops and Retreats, Becoming a Leader in Yoga, Review Session, Practicum Time

**In addition to the group training intensive, students also received individualized training. Each individual practicum will be scheduled separately at each student’s convenience.

Each trainee has the option to attend any future in-person training sessions in California or via Zoom at a large discount if you choose to do so.

Our program fulfills all the requirements for the 200 level Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) certification with Yoga Alliance.  To be eligible for registration with Yoga Alliance, students participating in the intensive must also complete our online (self-paced) course in addition to the in-person (or via Zoom) intensive.

**Please note that prior to the yoga teacher training group training intensive, you will be asked to order and begin our supplemental self-paced online course.

Payment Information

The full training includes two payments:
1) payment for the supplemental online (self-paced) course and materials ($295), and
2) payment for the in-person training intensive (3 payments of $499).

The price of the online course materials is $295. Once you have paid for the online course, your spot will
be reserved in the in-person intensive.
Tuition for the in-person summer intensive (in-person or via Zoom) is 3 payments of $499.
Payment for the in-person intensive is due before the first day of the intensive.  We offer payment plans if needed.

you will receive all necessary materials and your space in the training intensive will be reserved.

If you decide for any reason not to attend the training, simply let us know at least two days before the start of the training for a full refund of any payments you have made.
