Teaching yoga to kids is a rewarding experience in which you have the opportunity to make positive and lasting changes in the lives of kids. We currently offer both this introductory program and a more comprehensive program for Kids Yoga.
Though our introductory Kids Yoga Teacher Training Program, you have the tools you need to develop excellent yoga classes for kids. Whether you currently teach yoga and would like to add kids classes to your schedule, or you’re a parent or teacher who would like to incorporate yoga into the time you spend with kids, our program will help you share yoga with kids in a fun and safe way. This program also provides continuing education hours with Yoga Alliance for current yoga teachers.
Our programs focus on developing your ability to provide kids with a fun, effective and safe yoga class for the ages of 3 years old through teenagers. Our child yoga teacher education program focuses on positive teaching techniques, proper sequencing, safety consideration and kid-friendly modifications to make each class a fun and rewarding experience for everyone

For those who would like more advanced training, you can complete additional training through our Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher training program, which is offered through a combination of self-paced modules and live Zoom sessions. Completing both the introductory program and the advanced program fulfills the requirements for the Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher (RCYT) distinction with Yoga Alliance for current yoga teachers.

The program offers a money back guarantee. If you decide not to continue the program, you have 30 days to request a refund, which we will happily provide.
Once you complete the introductory online program and the advanced training, you will be eligible for the RCYT certification with Yoga Alliance if you are a current registered yoga teacher. If you complete the introductory course, you will be eligible for 20 hours of continuing education with Yoga Alliance and will receive a certificate, so you may teach kids yoga and may obtain professional liability insurance for that purpose.
The tuition for the introductory program is $97. If you would like to complete the advanced training after completing the introductory course, it is $295. If you are signing up to complete both trainings at the start, after submitting your application for the advanced training, you will be asked to pay a fee of $97 for the introductory online course. The full tuition for the advanced training will be due before starting that section.
If you have previously completed the Kids Yoga Teacher Training Introductory Course and want to complete the advanced training program, you will just need to submit an application for the program or simply email us. You will already be listed as paid for the introductory course, so you will only need to pay for the advanced program.
About the Founder
Nancy Wile
Nancy Wile (E-RYT 500) , the founder of Yoga Education Institute, created the online teacher training program and works individually with each student who registers for our program. She has been practicing yoga for over 25 years and has been training yoga teachers (through RYT 200 and RYT 500 programs) for over 10 years. She has a doctorate in education from Columbia University and, along with teaching yoga and training yoga teachers, she has spent much time teaching and developing health and wellness programs.
